SUMMARY:ART // Echoes Through a Greenspace
DESCRIPTION:Echoes Through a Green Space is a collaborative public art project based around South Park. The project aims to celebrate the history of the public green space by creating an interactive light installation and live musical performance\, echoing the park’s unique history as a place for public performance and social gathering. \nThe creation of a new multi-disciplinary work\, to be premiered as the closing event of the 2018 Free State Festival\, will be the culmination of a summer-long campaign of outreach events\, workshops and social media promotion\, inviting the public to share and explore their memories and experiences of the city park.
