This is one holiday film event you won’t want to miss (as long as you’re home before midnight…) \n6:00pm HOLIDAY LAWRENCE FILM MIXER\nCash bar opens early for a chance for filmmakers + film lovers to connect over festive beverages and delectable themed treats by Amber Scullery! \n7:00pm HOW THE 3 RULES OF MOGWAI CAN BE FOUND IN REAL LIFE\nOperation Wildlife will be on site with a live owl to present about nocturnal animals and KU Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology scholars Dr. Jennifer Gleason and Matthew Travert will discuss budding and Circadian rhythms. \n7:30pm GREMLINS FILM SCREENING \n  \nABOUT THE FILM\nMiniature green monsters tear through the small town of Kingston Falls. Hijinks ensue as a mild-mannered bank teller releases these hideous loonies after gaining a new pet and violating two of three simple rules: No water (violated)\, no food after midnight (violated)\, and no bright light. Hilarious mayhem and destruction in a town straight out of Norman Rockwell. So\, when your washing machine blows up or your TV goes on the fritz\, before you call the repairman\, turn on all the lights and look under all the beds. ‘Cause you never can tell\, there just might be a gremlin in your house. \nThis event is supported by Science on Screen\, an initiative of the Coolidge Corner Theatre\, with major support from the Alfred P.
