DESCRIPTION:This event is SOLD OUT.\nTickets are currently available for our next Microcinema screening – Sixteen Candles featuring revisionist commentary by The Willow on October 26.\nA night of existential dark comedy with Cat Stevens-inspired live music by Danny Pound and a screening of the cult classic\, Harold and Maude. \nDanny Pound\, Musician\nDanny Pound is a singer/songwriter/performer from the city of Topeka who has made his home in Lawrence since 1993. He began his music career in his early teens\, writing and recording and performing in bands such as Vitreous Humor\, The Regrets\, and The Danny Pound Band. He currently performs as a solo artist\, but goes wherever inspiration calls in order to stay true to the muse. Equal parts gallows humor and romantic innocence\, Harold and Maude dissolves the line between darkness and light along with the ones that separate people by class\, gender\, and age\, and it features indelible performances and a remarkable soundtrack by Cat Stevens.
