The Free State Festival is produced by the Lawrence Arts Center and made possible through grant funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, the City of Lawrence and Explore Lawrence.
This year’s signature sponsors are the Lawrence Public Library, Kansas Public Radio, The Lawrence Business Magazine, KU Film and Media Studies, KU Department of African and African-American Studies, and the Lawrence Journal-World.
Event sponsors include: KU Hall Center for the Humanities, Tom Harper with Stephens Real Estate, Love Garden Sounds, the Eighth Street Taproom, and the KU William Allen White School of Journalism.

BUY PASSES
- Includes admission to all film screenings, events, and receptions
- Passholders will be admitted to events prior to individual ticket holders once doors open for the event.
- Passholders must be present 30 minutes before show time with their pass on hand to guarantee admission. Late arrivals will be admitted on a space-available basis.
- Passes will be available for pick up at the Lawrence Arts Center front desk (940 New Hampshire St.) starting Monday, June 22 at 12pm.
