ABOUT THE FILM:
An intimate portrait of a one-of-a-kind singer-songwriter from 1970s LA — Judee Sill. This moving documentary charts her life from a troubled adolescence of addiction, armed robbery and prison through her meteoric rise in the music world and early tragic death. In two years, Judee went from living in a car, to an Asylum Record deal and the cover of Rolling Stone. As told by David Geffen, Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne and Graham Nash — along with Judee herself — the film explores Judee’s unique musical style and the inspiring recent rediscovery of her singular music by many young artists today.

ABOUT THE MUSIC:
Heidi Lynne Gluck is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with two solo releases (The Only Girl In The Room & Pony Show) and many credits as a session player. She has contributed bass, guitar, piano, keys, vocals, accordion and lap steel on dozens of records, including Juliana Hatfield’s Some Girls, Margot & the Nuclear So and Sos, Lily & Madeleine, Simrit, The Roseline, and more. Heidi performs solo and as a side player with lots of local acts, continuing to work as a session musician, and making time for the occasional tour.
